Why watch this film?
Christian Wolff applies his brilliant mind and illegal methods to reconstruct the unsolved puzzle of a Treasury chief's murder.
"The ant 2 is an example of an unexpected sequel -- Gavin O'Connor (whose great titles include Warrior and Police Force) insisted on a second chapter in the now franchise about this neurodivergent ant who also fights criminals. The result is mixed. On the one hand, the convoluted story doesn't hold up, the characters are generally uncharismatic, and there are several embarrassing moments, such as the group of neurodivergent hackers, which worked in the first film but here are just an attempt. Still, the feature film starring Ben Affleck has some fun, mainly because of the actor, who continues to work well in this space between humor and tragedy, and because of the relationship with the protagonist's brother, played by Jon Bernthal. If you're looking for action with a touch of comedy without being too concerned with reality or if you're not concerned with watching a really good movie, The ant 2 could be a good choice (as was the first one). It's a weekend program: to the time, watch some fighting, eat popcorn and laugh at and with Affleck. Nothing more."
