""Gone in the Night" is one of those thrillers that is sustained by twists that change all expectations of its intriguing plot at every step. The story follows Kath (Winona Ryder), a woman who travels to a remote cabin with her boyfriend, but finds a young couple already occupying it. When her boyfriend disappears with the young woman the next morning, she becomes obsessed with finding answers. Even if it's not as original as it claims to be - and makes some questionable narrative choices - "Gone in the Night" is a thriller that is kept exciting by a fantastic performance by Ryder, who s the cast of Dermot Mulroney ("My Best Friend's Wedding")."
